Over the last weeks and months we’ve been treated to the unveiling of NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture and the introduction of 2nd Generation RTX via the RTX 30-Series. While the price/performance on offer has been extremely encouraging, these launches haven’t been without issues. If you could get your hands on one, there were some initial stability problems which have now been resolved with a driver update, but as hinted, there have been severe stock issues at online retailers, sparking frustration from consumers who are keen to get their hands on the very latest GPUs.
This week it is the turn of NVIDIA’s third GPU to hit the market, the RTX 3070 has been given a staggered launch, with Founders Editions being showcased just a few days ago and partner cards today. So today we’ll be a close look at what GIGABYTE has to offer from one of their five models within the portfolio.
In the spotlight today we have the GIGABYTE RTX 3070 GAMING OC – a graphics card which should resemble a likeness to previously introduced GAMING OC variants. As in the past, this 3070 brings a factory overclock to the GPU boost and features the revered WindForce 3x cooling system.
