Closer Look
If you’re familiar with SteelSeries headsets, the design here won’t surprise you in the slightest, it’s very much par for the course. However, don’t let that put you off, it’s worked well for a long time with small improvements made here and there.

Inside the headband is a stretchy “comfort band” that adjusts itself to a degree, but there is also the four height options on the ends to give you plenty of room to get comfortable. The plushy, leatherette ear cups are incredibly soft, containing memory foam, and they’re vegan-friendly.

Tucked away within the left earcup is a retractable microphone, featuring AI noise cancellation, which SteelSeries claims can reduce unwanted noise by up to 25dB, on any platform.

Along with the microphone there’s the 3.5mm 4-pole connector, a volume wheel and a mute switch for the microphone. You can also see here, where the SteelSeries logo is, there’s a small recess just above the volume wheel, this allows you to remove the round piece and swap it for a variety of colours, the Nova Booster Pack is available separately on the website, and also includes a colour-matched headband.

The right earcup doesn’t feature any extra buttons or switches.
