In pursuit of extreme memory overclocking, MSI launched the Dragon Alliance brand partnership with various memory manufacturers to certify memory modules that can effortlessly achieve DDR5-8000+ memory frequency. MSI OC Lab collaborated with several globally renowned memory brands to create the Dragon Alliance program.

Alongside the creation of the MSI Dragon Alliance, MSI also launches and revives the MPOWER Series with the new MSI Z790MPOWER motherboard. Rumoured to have an MSRP of $199, the MSI Z790MPOWER motherboard is specially designed for extreme memory overclocking – not for CPU overclocking. The motherboard comes in a micro-ATX form factor and has an included EZ Dashboard accessory – a separate module that has a power button, clear CMOS button, and debug LED which are essential functions extreme overclockers would find very helpful.
