Xiaomi presents its line-up of Xiaomi Mi gaming notebooks powered by 7th generation Intel Core CPUs and GeForce GTX 1050Ti and GTX 1060 graphics with a very competitive pricing starting. The entry-level Xiaomi Mi gaming notebook model is powered by an Intel i5-7300HQ with GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics starts at ¥5999 which is approximately £675. Xiaomi says it took them two years to develop its first line-up of gaming notebooks that feature high-performance specifications of up to an Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor and the VR-ready GeForce GTX 1060 graphics.

All the Xiaomi Mi gaming notebooks released as of this writing sport a 15.6-inch Full-HD display with anti-glare and a wide viewing angle of 178°. Top-of-the-line model comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory, 256GB of SSD storage with a 1TB HDD as well. The Xiaomi Mi gaming notebooks also come with RGB lighting on the sides of the notebook as well as the RGB backlit 1.8mm high key professional game keyboard that features three lighting modes on its four lighting zones controlled using the "Light Sword" Ambience Light software. There are five programmable buttons on the left of the keyboard ideal for macros for productivity applications and games. The Xiaomi Mi gaming notebooks also feature Dolby Panorama Sound and High Thrust Headphone Amplifier that delivers immersive gaming audio. The notebook sports two 3W high-fidelity speakers.

The Xiaomi Mi gaming notebooks come with a grey all-aluminium chassis. Its cooling system features a 3+2 heat pipe design with two cooling fans on each side of notebook that blows its exhaust on the sides and rear of the notebook. As for connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi gaming notebooks has three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port and USB type-C port which supports up to two 4K monitors.
