Synology introduces the DiskStation DS419slim, a small but versatile 4-bay NAS with 2.5-inch drive support. The Synology DiskStation DS419slim is just 12 centimetres tall and less than 15 centimetres long. DiskStation DS419slim sports a cube-shaped design and weighs 700 grams without drives installed making it compact and portable. It can support up to 20TB maximum raw capacity having four 5TB 2.5-inch drives installed. The DS419slim offers flexible RAID options of either RAID 5 or RAID 6 configurations for 2.5-inch hard disk drives or solid-state drives for better data protection.
