Synology launches the RT2600ac router, a high-speed security-focused router ideal for home and business smart networking needs. The Synology RT2600ac is packed with powerful features inside its intuitive UI that promises to deliver robust and stable performance through wired and wireless connection for multiple users.
The Synology RT2600ac router is powered by a 1.7Ghz dual-core processor to maximize user experience and network performance. The RT2600ac is equipped with 802.11ac Wave 2 certified radios featuring MU-MIMO support offering blistering WiFi speeds. The RT2600ac can optimize connection between the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios for maximum wireless speed and range through Smart Connect. The router also offers dual WAN with 2.0Gbps combined bandwidth which enables two high-speed fiber connections for load balancing failover.
The Synology RT2600ac router is powered by the Synology Router Manager (SRM) operating system which offers a consumer-friendly price point with professional-level networking tools to provide the best home and business networking solution. Application Layer QoS makes it possible to control and monitor bandwidth consumption according to individual specifications and devices. Even with advanced traffic control and application detection enabled, the hardware acceleration engine serves to maintain high performance and throughput for all connected devices.
