Streacom now ships the FC8 Alpha fanless ITX chassis with the SH2 heat pipe kit to address the current layout of ITX motherboards that have a center-right CPU socket location. With this, the FC8 Alpha chassis will now be bundled with the SH2 heatpipe kit.

Switch from SH8 to SH2 Heatpipes

For users that use the older mini-ITX motherboard with the bottom-right CPU socket layout, buyers can still opt for the SH8 heat pipe kit. The SH8 and MH1 heatpipe kits will still be available for less common CPU locations, but the switch to SH2 heatpipes will give better out-of-the-box compatibility with the current range of ITX motherboards on the market.

Streacom HT4 Thermal Riser

For improved compatibility with other components to be installed inside, Streacom also introduces the HT4 thermal riser on a separate purchase. This will minimize the number of components blocking the path of the heat pipes having the base plate and heat pipes elevated away from the motherboard and its components.
