SilverStone Technology unveils its latest addition to the ALTA Series – the SilverStone ALTA F2. The ALTA F2 features the stack effect cooling with the case’s 90° rotated motherboard layout – a layout popularized by SilverStone’s older cases like the Raven RZ03. The ALTA F2 is SilverStone’s latest premium super tower chassis designed to support the most monstrous high-end builds using the latest components available today. The chassis supports up to XL-ATX and SSI-EBB form factor motherboards and dual power supply units. The ALTA F2 sports dark tempered glass side panel and front panel that provides a good view of the interior.
Graphics Card Orientation Options
The SilverStone ALTA F2 supports three graphics card orientations as seen in the image above. The case does come with a riser cable and mounting hardware to make these orientations possible out of the box.
The SilverStone ALTA F2 also can support an insane amount of liquid cooling hardware including up to a 540mm (triple 180mm) radiator and other radiator sizes that are rarely supported by typical gaming cases such as 480mm (4x120mm) radiators and 560mm (4x140mm) radiators. The ALTA F2 also has a lot of space for storage drives with four 3.5”/2.5” convertible bays, four 3.5” drive bays, and four 2.5” drive slots. Users can place up to eight 3.5” HDDs on the ALTA F2. The chassis comes with three pre-installed Air Penetrator 184i PRO fans with PWM control. The SilverStone ALTA F2 is devoid of any RGB lighting components on its chassis and pre-installed fans.
