The Radeon VII was first announced at the CES 2019 by AMD President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su. The Radeon VII is based on the second-generation Vega architecture. The Radeon VII also delivers a ground-breaking 1TB/s memory bandwidth for ultra-high resolution textures, hyper-realistic settings and life-like characters in graphics-intensive games. The Sapphire Radeon VII sports the reference design with a triple-fan cooling and silver brushed aluminium shroud. The Sapphire Radeon VII offers seamless, high refresh, HDR gaming at 1080p, 1440p and 4K. It powers the next generation photo and visual creation applications on razor-sharp, vibrant 8k monitors. The Radeon VII supports FreeSync and FreeSync 2 HDR2 technologies for smooth and stutter-free gameplay with a compatible monitor. AMD claims there are over 550 FreeSync displays available today.
