SAPPHIRE live demos products, new and existing, at the Computex 2017. SAPPHIRE introduces the SAPPHIRE NITRO Gear Series featuring a set of NITRO Series graphics card customization options including new back plates, shroud sets and fans in different colours. SAPPHIRE will also be dishing out a Special Edition NITRO+ Radeon RX 580 graphics card with a blue shroud and back plate with a much higher factory overclock as well. For ultrabook owners, SAPPHIRE is bringing new Thunderbolt™ 3 dongles with 2x DisplayPort or 2x HDMI outputs.
SAPPHIRE NITRO Gear
SAPPHIRE is introducing the NITRO Gear Series of accessories for NITRO Series Radeon graphics cards. SAPPHIRE will now offer extra LED fans (with dual-ball bearing) in three backlight colours – white, red and blue. With the SAPPHIRE Quick Connect system, SAPPHIRE card owners can quickly swap stock fans with the new fan in selected colour. The fans are compatible with all SAPPHIRE NITRO+ and Pulse RX 580 / 570 models as well as NITRO/NITRO+ RX 480 / 470 models.
The NITRO Gear line-up also includes sets of cooling shroud and backplane in 2 different colours – Azure Ice and Crimson Fire. Owners of the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 580 Limited Edition and Special Edition as well as the SAPPHIRE RX 570 cards can swap the stock shroud and backplate with one of the two new ones.
SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 580 Special Edition
As aforementioned, SAPPHIRE will be releasing a new variant – the NITRO+ Radeon RX 580 Special Edition. The card sports an Azure Ice metallic blue coloured shroud and backplate. The card also runs with a high factory-overclocked 1430 MHz boost clock. The memory clock has also been bumped to 2100 MHz, resulting in 8.4 Gbps of throughput.
The SAPPHIRE NITRO Gear and SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 580 Special Edition are now available at partner resellers worldwide.
SAPPHIRE Thunderbolt 3 Dongle
SAPPHIRE also introduces Thunderbolt 3 Dongles, an adapter for Thunderbolt 3 ports to either dual HDMI or Dual DisplayPort output. The dongle offers connection of two displays with up to 4K resolution @ 60 Hz or a single 5K resolution at 60 Hz. Ships at Q3, 2017.
