PowerColor, a world-renowned manufacturer of AMD Radeon-brand graphics cards, teases the Radeon RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil graphics card, the brand’s first liquid-cooled Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. PowerColor may have only revealed an image of the graphics card wherein some details can be observed. The PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil seems to be sporting a full-cover water block for custom liquid cooling systems which seems to be designed in collaboration with EK Water Blocks, a world-renowned premium liquid cooling hardware maker.
The PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Liquid Devil, a product of the first collaboration of EK Water Blocks with PowerColor, could be the highest factory-overclocked Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card upon release considering the superior cooling capabilities of custom liquid cooling compared to air-cooled models. While there are no other details about the graphics card’s specifications and availability, the teaser suggests the release could be somewhere in late Q3 or early Q4 of 2019.
EK Water Blocks’ Collaboration with Graphics Card Manufacturers
EK Water Blocks has worked in collaboration with different graphics cards manufacturers in the past to create graphics card models with full-cover water blocks ready to be added into existing or new liquid cooling systems. EKWB has previously collaborated with MSI to create various SEA HAWK Edition graphics cards such as the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk EX X and GeForce RTX 2080 Sea Hawk EK X graphics cards. Even without an official partnership, EKWB is actively designing full-cover water blocks for NVIDIA and Radeon graphics cards for major brands.
