Plextor appears to be winding down its consumer flash storage division as it announces the transition to transfer RMA services to SSSTC (Solid State Storage Technology Corporation), a subsidiary of KIOXIA Corporation.

Plextor SSD today officially announced a significant update to its customer service. Starting January 1, 2024, the RMA services for Plextor SSD products will be entirely transferred to SSSTC (Solid State Storage Technology Corporation ).

In a move to offer enhanced customer service, Plextor SSD has decided to shift its RMA services to SSSTC. Recognized as a leading SSD manufacturer In Taiwan, SSSTC is renowned for its exceptional customer service.

Beginning January 1, 2024, Plextor SSD users will be able to directly access and apply for RMA services via the official website of SSSTC. To better accommodate the needs of a global clientele, the website is available in three language versions: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English, ensuring all users can easily obtain the necessary information and support.

While there are no official statements regarding a plan to halt the consumer flash storage division at Plextor, it has been a while since the brand released a new product. Their latest release is back in 2021 with the Plexor M10P(G) PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD which offered speeds of up to 7000MB/s read and 4000MB/s write and backed with a 5-year warranty. On the other hand, Plextor's Facebook and Twitter USA pages appear to have been deactivated.
