Today Phanteks announced that they are augmenting their already extensive Glacier GPU waterblock series with a new model for one of the most popular brands on the market today. Designed in partnership with ASUS ROG is the Glacier G2070 Strix, a full-cover waterblock for ROG Strix RTX 2070 and 2060 graphics cards that enables better cooling, higher overclocks and sleek aesthetics with NVIDIA's more affordable range of GeForce RTX GPUs.

Like all the Glacier series waterblocks the G2070 is assembled with anodised or chome plated aluminium cover plates, a polished acrylic surface and high-quality nickel finished copper base. A minimalistic design works as a blank canvas with Digital-RGB lighting, and the design is compatible with current ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2070/2060 backplates.

As a full-cover waterblock the Glacier G2070 directly cools not only the GPU, but also other components hot under load such as memory chips and VRMs. An optimised water flow ensures that attention has been paid to each component that reaches appreciably higher than ambient temperatures for cool operation whatever the task.



In common with the rest of the Glacier series, the G2070 Strix is compatible with ASUS AURA SYNC, MSI Mystic Light SYNC and Razer Chroma lighting systems.
