Overclockers UK Roll Out The Deals As The Sun Shines

Skys are clear and the sun is out early enough to make you think it's almost Summer, and there's no better weather for hunting deals. The fine folks over at Overclockers UK have been setting out bait for the canny consumer (as well as, we trust, doing a fair bit of sunbathing) in the form of a few special bargains that could make this mini-heatwave feel like even more of a holiday.

First, to systems! Is your PC struggling with the onslaught of games released earlier this year? Looking to keep things budget-oriented rather than breaking the bank? Then two members of the OCUK KINETIC family of systems just got even more tempting:

The KINETIC-H1M is a Core-i3 equipped PC that's aggressively priced for no-nonsense gaming. However, it's not tooled out with just any i3... Intel's Coffee Lake Core-i3 8100 offers four cores rather than just two, and given its core clock is set to 3.6GHz the CPU offers the sort of performance you might expect from an i5 merely a generation ago.

INNO3D's GeForce GTX 1060 Twin X2 3GB is a contender for 1080p gaming in any title, and 8GB DDR4 RAM is a solid choice that keeps the cost trim. You'll also pick up a 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD and Windows 10 Home with this system, so all you'll need is a monitor and peripherals to get cracking.

OCUK's KINETIC-H1M is available for £599 inc. V.A.T, with an excellent 3 years collect and return warranty. It's also available on finance from £16.38 a month.

Able to push the boat out a little more? If so, check out the KINECT H1. A similar core of components are housed in this system, with two exceptions. Helping the system be a little more fluid in operation is a Team Group 240GB SSD, while games and movies can be stored on the more spacious 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD. It's priced at £689.99 inc. V.A.T., or also under finance.

Of course, OCUK offer a wide range of configurable systems to suit all budgets and requirements.

But that's not all. We mentioned peripherals, so how about treating yourself to a new set (perhaps to go with one of those new systems)? Overclockers UK have squeezed the price of the Cougar 'Freddy' gaming bundle, comprising:

- Cougar Revenger Optical Gaming Mouse (a Vortez.net Gold Award winner)
- Cougar 450K Gaming Keyboard with Hybrid Mechanical Switches
- Cougar Immersa 300H Gaming Headset
- Cougar Speed 2 Large Gaming Mouse Mat

Until the end of the week it's priced at £100.86, and thereafter £109.99 while stocks last; that represents a £25 saving over the normal retail price.

Finally, after a hard day bargain hunting, you could do with a spot of rest. How's your computer chair by the way? Looking a bit tatty? Frayed around the edges? Well, as it happens OCUK also have a deal on the Nitro Concepts S300 in Inferno Red.

This gaming chair sports a Red and Black livery, fabric upholstery, highly adjustable design (in height, inclination and arm rest position) and a very welcome lumbar support cushion. For added peace of mind it comes with 2 years warranty.

Normally coming in at £229.99, the price has been pushed down to £194.99.

But wait, there's more! Every day OCUK have a featured Today Only Deal, which could be anything from memory to mechanical keyboard. Right now they're offering the lightning-quick 250GB Samsung 960 EVO Polaris NVMe SSD for £89.99, 30% off its usual price. Perhaps it's time to start getting the most out of that unused M.2 slot?

Plus, the weekly trove that is their This Week Only section can always help you make your money go just that little bit further, whether it be a one-off upgrade or complete system build. This week for instance they're offering more than 20% off Corsair's stunning Crystal 570X RGB tempered glass case, but that's just one of dozens of high quality component deals in the section.

Last but not least, it would be remiss not mention that the price of GPUs is finally starting to normalise, particularly NVIDIA's 10-series graphics cards. You can find a full range at the OCUK/NVIDIA Made To Game microsite, and we'd draw particular attention to the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Mini. This cracking gaming GPU is available for a smidgen under £400, a relief compared to the crypto-induced pricing of the Spring.

So with that said, have a great weekend and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather!
