NVIDIA's latest driver update isn't quite the usual Game Ready release. Recently a series vulnerabilities were highlighted in the NVIDIA driver stack, as outlined in this NVIDIA Security Bulletin, that lead to a user arbitrarily gaining access to physical memory, gradual escalation of privileges, and eventually leading to denial of service. These are critical vulnerabilities in the kernal mode layer, and hence a fix was urgent. GeForce 376.33 Drivers are the first consumer release to address this.

Although we've highlighted the consumer driver release for Windows, Linux driver updates are also necessary for consumer GeForce cards.

As usual, the latest GeForce drivers can be found at geforce.com/drivers. This latest release also inherits in-game opitimisations from previous patches, and additionally updates the Titanfall 2 SLI profile to Disabled.
