NVIDIA GeForce GPU users still suffering from in-game instability in Red Dead Redemption 2, or game crashes when playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider in DX12 mode, may finally see some relief in the form of a new GeForce Hotfix driver quietly released this week. GeForce Hotfix Driver 441.34 is based on Game Ready Driver 441.20 but incorporates two very specific fixes for affected users:
This Hotfix driver addresses the following:
[Red Dead Redemption 2] Vulkan: Stalling on some systems with 4-core and 6-core CPUs
[Shadow of the Tomb Raider] Game may crash when launched in DX12 mode.
*Please note: Windows 8.1x64 is not supported on Turing GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards.
