Noctua is now offering free NM-AM4-L9aL9i AM4 upgrade kit for the Noctua NH-L9a and NH-L9i low-profile CPU coolers. Noctua released free AM4 upgrade kits last January for the majority of their coolers with the exemption of these coolers due to the unique and different mounting system the low-profile CPU coolers use. The new NM-AM4-L9aL9i SecuFirm2 mounting kit for the NH-L9a and NH-L9i CPU coolers will cover AM4 compatibility for the rest of Noctua’s active cooler models. The NM-AM4-L9aL9i SecuFirm2 will be available via the partner resellers as well and at the Noctua website free of charge with the requirement of uploading proof of purchase or proof of ownership.

The new NM-AM4-L9aL9i kit for the NH-L9a and NH-L9i low-profile coolers completes Noctua’s line-up of AM4 upgrade kits. Just like the other two kits, the NM-AM4-L9aL9i has been tailor-designed for the new socket in order to ensure optimal compatibility, perfect contact pressure and easy, straightforward installation. For users that lost their invoice, Noctua is kind enough to extend eligibility by providing a simple proof of ownership. Users will simply need to write their full name and current date on a piece of paper then take a photo of the paper next to the cooler and upload is as proof of ownership.
