Razer announces the new Kraken X gaming headset featuring an ultra-lightweight construction and virtual 7.1 surround sound. The Razer Kraken X offers comfortable non-stop gaming being ultra-lightweight at 250 grams. Razer is also announcing that all its gaming headsets that will be launched from 2019 onwards, including the new Razer Kraken X, will be sporting 7.1 surround sound capabilities. The Kraken X is available in two colour variants – Classic Black and Console with a black and blue colour theme.

The new Razer Kraken X gaming headset offers gaming comfort all day weighing at just 250 grams. It comes with plush memory foam cushions with eyewear channels offering the same level of comfort to gamers with eyeglasses. The Kraken X’s soft headband padding relieves pressure on your head and comes with a firm grip with measured fit.

Convenient Audio Control

The Razer Kraken X sports a mute button and volume slider on its left earcup for convenient and easy-to-access control.

Clear Voice Recording

The Razer Kraken X comes with a flexible and bendable microphone that uses cardioid pattern for voice recording while suppressing background noise to deliver crystal clear communication.

Cross-Platform Compatibility

The Razer Kraken X is compatible with all major gaming platforms including PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, Phones, and Tablets with its 3.5mm audio jack. An Xbox One Stereo adapter can be purchased to enable compatibility with the Xbox One family of consoles.
