It has been three years since ASUS launched the ROG Strix Helios as its flagship gaming chassis, first seen at CES 2019. ASUS have already made different versions of the chassis such as the ROG Strix Helios EVA Edition as part of the ROG X EVANGELION Collection. Today, ASUS’s new ROG-branded flagship gaming chassis appears online – launched in China as “ROG Chuangshishen” which can be translated to ROG Creator. The English name of the new flagship gaming chassis is ROG Hyperion, model GR701.
The ROG Hyperion GR701 features 4mm-thick tempered glass side panels on both sides with black anodized brushed aluminium alloy covers. The chassis supports up to E-ATX motherboards with extensive custom liquid cooling hardware support including up to 420mm radiators. The distinguished aesthetic component of the ROG Hyperion GR701 is the “X” aluminium alloy frame handles that can support up to 80 KGs. A ROG-style LED light board can be found in the interior and a sliding storage cabinet appears to hold tools.
The ROG Hyperion GR701 has been presented in the APAC region as seen in the YouTube video below.
ASUS is yet to globally announce the launch of the ROG Hyperion GR701 as the new flagship gaming chassis for the Republic of Gamers lineup this 2023.
