Crucial introduces the BX300 solid-state drive series featuring Micron 3D NAND flash offering great value and performance for consumers and builders today. The combination of Silicon Motion’s cutting-edge SM2258 controller along with Micron 3D NAND enables high performance, reliability and excellent value for our customers. The new Crucial BX300 3D MLC NAND is in a 2.5-inch form factor SSD, available in capacities of 120GB, 240GB and 480GB. All capacities offer performance of up to 555 MB/s sequential read and up to 510 MB/s sequential write.

With the Crucial BX300, upgrading from a traditional hard drive to an SSD will be easier. Use the Crucial Advisor Tool to determine the compatible upgrade based on their system’s manufacturer, make, and model. Supporting the BX300 is Crucial’s mobile-friendly install guide so users of all technical ability levels are armed with the straightforward, step-by-step information they need to successfully install an SSD.
