Mushkin officially launches its Pilot Series M.2 NVMe Solid-State Drives which was featured at CES 2018. The Mushkin Pilot NVMe SSDs feature the Silicon Motion SM2262 controller and 3D TLC NAND flash. The Mushkin Pilot SSDs utilizes the PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe 1.3 interface that delivers up to 2700MB/s sequential read speeds and 1700MB/s sequential write speeds. It is available in four different capacities - 120GB, 250GB, 500GB and 1TB capacities. It comes in the M.2 2280 form factor
The Mushkin Pilot M.2 NVMe SSDs also come with the Mushkin Enhanced Data-Protection Suite (M.E.D.S) that has a built-in LDPC ECC, the most powerful data correction level available today. It also enables end-to-end data path protection and data shaping which increases the endurance of the SSD. M.E.D.S also comes equipped with StaticDataRefresh that ensures data integrity. It also provides global wear-leveling to extend lifespan.
