MSI’s long-awaited EVANGELION e:PROJECT collection is finally unveiled. The collection includes a motherboard, all-in-one liquid CPU cooler, chassis, and power supply unit – all with a purple and green colour design inspired by the “EVA-01 TEST TYPE” of EVANGELION. MSI teased the EVANGELION e:PROJECT collection last year but delayed the release of these limited-edition models. MSI did not reveal the reason for the delay. The EVANGELION e:PROJECT would be MSI’s answer to also mecha-inspired ASUS x GUNDAM collection.

EVANGELION e:PROJECT Collection

EVANGELION e:PROJECT is a new e-sports brand that incorporates an Evangelion feel into gaming devices and PC peripherals. These products are EVANGELION e:PROJECT’s first e-sports hardware collaborations. They are also used by EVA:e, Evangelion’s official pro gaming team. The collection currently consists of a motherboard, CPU cooler, PSU, and chassis. The motherboard, CPU cooler, and chassis sports RGB lighting powered by MSI Mystic Light.

The chassis has an ARGB LED strip in the front panel and comes with pre-installed ARGB fans but quantity is not mentioned.

The MSI x EVANGELION e:PROJECT Collection only includes a 650W PSU which will not be enough to power a system with an RTX 3080 or higher model graphics card. Hence, this implies that the current collection targets entry-level to mid-level gaming PC builds. MSI did not reveal plans to release higher-end models under this collection as of this writing. Meanwhile, ASUS already teased their own EVANGELION collection on their social media channels. ASUS might be officially launching their collection very soon.

MSI did not reveal the pricing of these products as of this writing. To learn more about the MSI x EVANGELION e:PROJECT Collection, please visit MSI.com.
