SiSoftware database registers what might be MSI’s next flagship motherboard for the upcoming AMD X570 chipset for the Ryzen 3000 Series processors. Rumours suggest AMD will be the next-generation AMD Ryzen 3000 Series, AMD EPYC Rome Series, and Radeon RX Navi GPUs on COMPUTEX 2019 which will be on May 28 to June 1, 2019 at Taipei, Taiwan. The line-up of ASRock and ASUS X570 motherboards have been leaked beforehand. While there is no information with regards to MSI’s X570 line-up, the existence of the MSI MEG X570 CREATION motherboard suggests that MSI will be offering the DNA of the formerly HEDT-exclusive and feature-packed MEG CREATION Series to the next-generation AMD mainstream platform. The MSI MEG CREATION motherboards are designed for professional content creators, currently offered in the HEDT Intel X299 and AMD X399 platforms with the MEG X299 CREATION and MEG X399 CREATION respectively.
Furthermore, SiSoftware’s database shows the MEG X570 CREATION was validated using an AMD quad-core, eight-thread processor with a product identifier ‘2DS104BBM4GH2_38/34_N’ with a main frequency of 3.4GHz and 3.8GHz turbo. Expert say it is one of the 7-nanometre third-generation Athlon processors. Experts also suggest that AMD might be increasing core count on the next generation considering that the third-gen Athlons carry four cores, indicating the possibility that third-generation Ryzen 3 3000 Series processors could be packing 6 cores and 12 threads. Also, as previously reported, the AMD X570 motherboards will be the first to support PCI-Express 4.0.
As of this writing, there are no official releases to any of the AMD X570 series motherboards as well as the third-generation Ryzen 3000 processors which are expected to be launched at COMPUTEX 2019.
