MSI adds its first H670 chipset-based motherboard on the MSI website – the MSI MAG H670 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4. The H670 chipset is positioned in between the high-end Z690 and mid-tier B660 chipsets. The H670 comes with 12 PCIe 4.0 lane support and 12 PCIe 3.0 lane support that is more than what B660 supports.
The MAG H670 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 supports up to 128GB DDR4 memory and up to DDR4-4800 (OC). For networking, the motherboard is fitted with an Intel 2.5GbE LAN port and Intel Wi-Fi 6 module. For storage, the MAG H670 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 has three (3) M.2 Lightning Gen4 (PCIe 4.0) slots for NVMe SSDs. The motherboard also has three (3) PCIe X16 slots with the top-most slot supporting PCIe 5.0.
