MSI announces support for the upcoming AMD AM5 socket for the next-generation AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors. The AM5 socket (LGA 1718) uses the same mounting bracket as the AMD AM4 socket for the MSI liquid coolers. Hence, the current lineup of MSI liquid coolers will automatically support the next-generation AMD AM5 socket platform. Just like the AMD AM4 socket, the MSI liquid coolers require the stock motherboard AMD Socket AM5 mounting backplate.
