MonsterLabo’s “The First” is a unique small-form factor desktop chassis that offers a completely passive cooling solution for the entire system including the CPU and GPU. The MonsterLabo The First was first seen at the COMPUTEX 2018, it is a compact chassis with a unique and fanless integrated cooling solution offering a totally silent thermal solution. The First features a shared heat sink between the motherboard and the graphics card which is the centrepiece of the chassis. The First optimizes volume while reducing empty spaces with a passive cooling solution that’s efficient enough to support high-performance components.
The MonsterLabo The First chassis is compatible socket LGA 1150-1155-1151 (Intel) and AM3-AM3 + -AM4 (AMD). The chassis supports graphics cards of up to a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. MonsterLabo is said to be studying in expanding compatibility to the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 Series graphics cards and Intel LGA 2011 platform. The First supports both passive and active power supply units in ATX, SFX and SFX-L formats. Hence, MonsterLabo highly recommends Seasonic power supplies which are tested and proven in both performance and compatibility. The chassis also has a dedicated mount for a 120mm or 140mm cooling fan if desired.
