Acer outs the new Spin 1 11.6-inch convertible PC. It features a sleek metal chassis that’s lightweight and stylish that weighs only 1.25 kilograms and is only 14mm thick. The Acer Spin 1 can go from notebook to an Acer Active Stylus in a jiffy. Along with its full HD and colour-accurate display, the Spin 1 is ideal for content creators on the go.
The Acer Spin 1 is powered by the highly capable and power efficient Intel Pentium or Intel Celeron processors along with 4GB of DDR3L memory. Storage capacity choices are 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of eMMC storage. The 11.6-inch full HD touchscreen display offers vivid 1080p resolution with 178-degrees viewing angles. With 8 hours of battery life, use the Spin 1 freely for work, entertainment, play and other activities with the ultra-thin, ultra-light and ultra-stylish PC.
For productivity use, the Spin 1 features Precision Touchpad and the Acer Active Stylus for precise on-screen input, offering a natural pen-to-paper experience. Capture ideas and work naturally with Windows Ink. For connectivity, the Acer Spin 1 sports a reliable and fast Intel Wireless-AC (802.11ac 2x2) technology along with Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connectivity options. The Spin 1 also has one high-speed USB 3.1 port, one USB 3.0 port, one HDMI and one microSD SDXC slot. For quality audio, the Acer Spin 1 makes use of the Acer TrueHarmony technology with speakers on both sides of the laptop.
The Acer Spin 1 will be available in North America in July with prices starting at $329; and in EMEA in July with prices starting at €399.
