The new Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse has a similar ergonomic shape and mouse button layout but sports a gaming-grade HERO 16K sensor offering resolution from 100 to 16,000 DPI. The Logitech G MX518 also retains its original glossy keyplate. It also packs an onboard 32-bit Arm processor that can store up to five profiles using the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) or the Logitech G Hub so you can plug-and-play at any PC along with your saved profiles.
HERO 16K Sensor
The reborn Logitech G MX518 comes with the latest gaming technology which includes the exclusive HERO 16K gaming-grade sensor. Logitech boasts it to be the most accurate sensor ever that can capture rate of up to 17,000 frames per second. The HERO 16K sensor has a DPI range of 100 to 16,000 with zero smoothing, acceleration, or filtering.
On-the-Fly DPI Adjustments
The Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse has three dedicated DPI adjustment buttons near the mouse scroll wheel for on-the-fly DPI adjustments. Users can save up to five DPI settings and adjust with a single click, plus button for higher DPI and minus button for lower DPI. Quickly reset the DPI settings using the Default DPI button. DPI settings can be customized through the Logitech Gaming Software or G HUB.
Onboard Memory and Eight Programmable Buttons
The MX518 packs a 32-bit ARM processor and onboard memory that can save up to five profiles using the Logitech Gaming Software or Logitech G Hub. Using LGS or G Hub, users can also customize the mouse’s eight programmable buttons wherein users can add commands and macros.
