LG adds the 38GL950G UltraGear Nano IPS Gaming Monitor along with the 27GL850 UltraGear Monitor which was first introduced at CES 2019 last January. Both the LG 27GL850 and LG 38GL950G UltraGear gaming monitors sport Nano IPS panels with 1ms response time and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology for stutter-free and screen tearing-free gaming visuals when paired with NVIDIA GeForce-powered systems. The LG 38GL950G sports a curved Nano IPS panel to create a more immersive gaming visual. Both LG UltraGear gaming monitors have a native refresh rate of 144Hz with the LG 38GL950G overclockable to 175Hz and the LG 27GL850G-B overclockable to 160Hz. The UltraGear monitors also feature LG’s Sphere Lighting 2.0 that controls the RGB lighting that glows behind the monitor.
LG 27GL850G-B UltraGear Gaming Monitor
The LG 27GL850G-B UltraGear Gaming Monitor is a 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 gaming monitor with 3-side borderless design. The LG 27GL850G-B features Nano IPS display with 1ms response time and HDR 10 certification for smooth and clear visuals with reduced blur and ghosting. The Nano IPS panel covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space offering superb colour accuracy making the gaming monitor also ideal for professional content creators. The LG 38GL950G-B UltraGear Curved Gaming Monitor features a 38-inch UltraWide QHD+ (3840 x 1600) Nano IPS display with 1ms response time and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. It sports the same Nano IPS panel with 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space coverage for superb colour accuracy. Its native refresh rate of 144Hz can be overclocked up to 175Hz for smoother and clearer movement. The LG 38GL950G UltraGear also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 that enables realistic visual immersion with greater colour accuracy and broader contrast ratio. The LG 38GL950G packs LG’s exclusive gaming features including Sound Sync Mode and Video Sync Mode.
