Larian Studios announces Baldur’s Gate III, the official next adventure in the Baldur’s Gate Series. Larian Studios is the developer of the critically-acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin 2 released in September 2017, a role-playing game sequel to the 2014’s Divinity: Original Sin. Larian Studios releases a teaser showing the return of a malevolent presence in Baldur’s Gate. Once again, the fate of the Forgotten Realms lies in your hands. Watch the teaser video below.



It has been nine years since the previous installation, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, released in 2000. BioWare released expansion packs over the years with Siege of Dragonspear as the most recent expansion of the game. Larian Studios takes over the development of Baldur’s Gate III from BioWare and Black Isle Studios which was defunct in 2003. There is no further information to the official release date of the game but we would expect more information to be revealed on the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019 given its very timely teaser announcement.
