January 2018 at CES, Intel launches its 8th generation Intel Core processors with Radeon RX Vega graphics that will power the next-generation Intel NUC (formerly code-named Hades Canyon) and other small-form-factor devices. The Hades Canyon-power NUC is a compact gaming-capable mini PC that has a volume of only 1.2 litre. Intel also boasts its VR capabilities with its unlocked Radeon RX Vega M GH graphics that can be overclocked if desired. Intel previously announced that it will be launching two Hades Canyon-based NUCs, the NUC8i7HVK and NUC8i7HNK.

Today, Intel shows the main circuit board or the motherboard of the Hades Canyon NUCs which features the 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with Radeon RX Vega M graphics on the middle. These next-generation Intel NUCs are designed to support high-end virtual reality or VR gaming and can also support up to six high-resolution 4K displays simultaneously. The next-generation Hades Canyon Intel NUCs are indeed a trendsetter when it comes to compact gaming-capable systems. Intel announced last January that the next-gen Intel NUCs will become available by Spring 2018.
