GIGABYTE teases its upcoming AORUS RTX 20 Xtreme Series graphics cards featuring the NVIDIA Turing architecture. GIGABYTE will be putting up three graphics cards for each model, the RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070, each to be covered with a 4-year warranty. The AORUS RTX 20 Xtreme Series features the WINDFORCE Stack 3X 100mm Fan Cooling System which uses a triple-fan cooler with alternate spinning fans which are deemed to reduce turbulence thus increasing heat dissipation. The AORUS RTX 20 Xtreme Series also packs direct touch heat pipes for a more aggressive heat transfer. GIGABYTE also highlights its reinvented RGB lighting with addressable RGB LEDs.

WINDFORCE Stack 3X 100mm Fan Cooling System

The 3x 100mm stack fans provide larger and more smooth airflow. And with more heatsink coverage than other standard triple fans, WINDFORCE stack fans have better cooling performance. The GIGABYTE patent “Alternate Spinning” is the only solution that can solve the turbulent airflow of three fans which reduces turbulence and enhances the airflow pressure for improved heat dissipation. It also features the 3D Active Fan function which provides semi-passive cooling and shuts off the fan on low GPU loads which conserves power and improve acoustics. The fan uses double ball bearings for better heat endurance and efficiency. The heat sink also uses an angular fin design that results in a lower noise level and better cooling capacity. Lastly, the system uses composite heat-pipes with direct touch to the GPU for enhanced heat transfer.
