GIGABYTE presents the BRIX Extreme, GIGABYTE’s most powerful GIGABYTE BRIX mini-PC to date featuring the 12th generation Intel Core processors. GIGABYTE’s 2022 BRIX Extreme design features four display outputs including two HDMI 2.1 ports and two USB-C ports. The BRIX Extreme also comes with 2.5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 6E for fast networking. The GIGABYTE BRIX Extreme is available in slim and tall models.
12th Gen Intel Core Mobile Processor
The latest 12th Gen Intel Core Mobile Processors deliver 10% better GPU performance, 24% better multi-threaded performance compared to the previous generation and higher clock frequencies up to 4.7GHz. 12th Gen Intel Core Mobile Processors with Intel Iris Xe also take graphics performance and multimedia processing to a new level thanks to its massive 96 EUs (Execute Unit) which allows users to play the latest DirectX12 Ultimate games at ultra-settings. The GIGABYTE BRIX Extreme can also support full 8K media support via the HDMI 2.1 port.
Compact Size, Full Functionality
The GIGABYTE BRIX Extreme has a compact size (44 x 134 x139 mm). The 2.5G Ethernet design paired with the Wi-Fi 6E configuration reduces the risk of disconnections while increasing the flexibility of the network. Supporting an integrated TPM module, the new BRIX can provide hardware-level security and system protection by avoiding data leaks from decryption.
Flexible Expansions
GIGABYTE’s latest BRIX Extreme provides two types of versions, a Slim version, and a Tall version. The Tall version is for enabling additional storage capacity that allows users to install a 2.5” SSD/HDD. Also, the new upgrade kit features an I/O expander for adding a second LAN connection, an RS232 communication port, and a M.2 2280 slot. The kit hugely increases the flexibility and functionality to adapt to various applications. Combined with different I/O outputs, the mini-size BRIX systems offer unlimited possibilities. Bundled with a VESA bracket, BRIX can easily be mounted behind a monitor, fulfilling various applications in different fields of industry, commerce, or education.
Super Quiet
The new GIGABYTE BRIX Extreme also runs quietly with a sound level below 20dB, under 30dB when running heavy workload. The 12th Gen Intel Core Mobile processor enables boost mode with a TDP up to 45W, and still the noise level tops out at 35dB.
