GELID Solutions presents its newest CPU cooler for Intel and AMD processors – the GELID Tornado. The Tornado CPU Cooler comes from the SILENT line-up of CPU coolers offering silent yet efficient operation. The GELID Tornado comes with a lightweight heatsink that’s 3D optimized for balanced weight distribution while delivering best-in-class cooling performance.

The Tornado cooler sports a special copper base plate with soldered joints and four nickel-plated heatpipes in a unique constellation to dissipate heat faster. The Tornado CPU cooler sports a compact form-factor making it compatible with most desktop chassis. It supports up to 160W TDP to support high-performance processors for gaming and business applications.

The GELID Tornado comes with an improved 120mm cooling fan with intelligent GELID PWM control. The new Double Layer Fan Blade technology is applied to distribute airflow efficiently at low speed, and the redesigned PWM IC eliminates any clicking noise. The intelligent GELID PWM curve delivers optimal cooling that minimizes noise.

The GELID Tornado CPU cooler is also bundled with the GC-Pro thermal compound. The Tornado comes with a mounting clip to support multiple AMD sockets including AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1 and FM2. An AM4 supporting clip is also available but sold separately. It also supports the Intel sockets including LGA 775, 1366, and 115X sockets.
