G.SKILL first showcased the Ripjaws Series power supplies back in Computex 2015 and for some reason, nobody heard about it since then until now. G.SKILL suddenly announced its availability in the US region today at the Amazon online store. The power supplies can also be seen listed at Amazon UK but marked unavailable.
The G.SKILL Ripjaws power supplies come in 80PLUS Gold and Platinum ratings with the 80PLUS Gold offered in 750W and 850W models and the 80PLUS Platinum offered in 850W and a massive 1250W model which it claims to support both high-performance gaming setups and cryptomining machines. The Ripjaw PSUs also feature a fully modular cable design. The power supplies feature the automated [url=]G.SKILL[/url] ECO Optimized (GEO) Thermal Fan Control which offers silent operation during low loads as it turns off the fan. The power supply sports a 140mm cooling fan with double ball bearings that run at the optimal speed for efficient and quiet operation.
The G.SKILL Ripjaws power supply series also feature premium-grade 100% Japanese capacitors rated to 105°C offering reliable and consistent power delivery. The power supplies also feature Active Power Factor Correction and Ripple Reduction that helps minimize electrical ripple to deliver clean and steady current to your hardware. The power supplies also pack six layers of protection including OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection) and OTP (Over Temperature Protection).
