Press Release

FSP Group overhauls its consumer-based power supply range with the addition of the new Intel power design guide ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0. FSP PSU units moving forward will be Intel PSDG ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compliant, packing more power and stability for high-demand systems equipped with next-generation and future-generation components.

Older PSU models require three 8-pin PCIe connectors and a 16-pin PCIe 5.0 adapter to support the latest PCIe Gen 5.0 graphics cards including the upcoming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. FSP’s PCIe 5.0-Ready PSUs will be sporting a PCIe 5.0 16-pin connector out of the box.

FSP’s updated power supply units will come with clear visual labeling on their packaging to let users easily identify the upgraded version from older models and the changes in the modular ports that will include the addition of the PCIe 5.0 CEM (12VHPWR) connector.

Updated FSP Hydro G PRO Series
The newly upgraded power supplies from FSP Hydro G PRO 850W/1000W series and Hydro PTM PRO 850W/1000W/1200W series carry the PCIe 5.0 CEM (12VHPWR) interface and the corresponding 12+4 Pin cable. Experience unparalleled performance boost with more than 600W of power, ideal for the latest power-hungry graphics cards in the market highly beneficial for better overclock numbers with stable power delivery.
