The Game Awards are still ongoing live at twitch.tv/thegameawards, but one of the surprise announcements of the day just landed: part one of Square Enix's remake of Final Fantasy VII, long a Playstation exclusive, will soon be available on PC.
And by soon we mean soon. The announcement trailer placed the as December 16th 2021, just 6 days away!
The game, which has been dubbed Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, will be exclusive to the Epic Game Store at launch, and will include the DLC and exclusive brand-new episode featuring Yuffie. The trailer blurb also states that the game has been visually enhanced, and it's not at all clear what that entails at this time.
