An upcoming EVGA motherboard appeared at COMPUTEX 2019 – the EVGA SR-3 DARK Motherboard. The EVGA SR-3 DARK comes with the Intel Socket LGA 3647 for the Intel Xeon W-3175X 28-core, 56-thread processor which was released in December 2018. The EVGA SR-3 DARK motherboard sports an extended-ATX form-factor which is actually smaller compared to other brand’s offerings like the ASUS ROG DOMINUS EXTREME motherboard with its massive EEB form factor.
The EVGA SR-3 DARK motherboard showcased at COMPUTEX comes with a water block that covers cooling for the VRMs and PCH but we would assume that the CPU also comes with its own water block at this level of innovation. It comes with 4 EPS power connectors hinting superb overclocking potential, the EPS connectors are also placed alongside the 24-pin motherboard header at the right side of the motherboard. All the other connectors like the USB headers, SATA ports, front I/O headers, and others feature EVGA’s signature 90-degree connector.
