EVGA expands its high-end audio card line-up with three new models that will deliver Lifelike Audio to PCs starting with the new EVGA NU Audio Pro 7.1 followed by the NU Audio Pro, and NU Audio Surround audio cards which are coming soon. Like the first EVGA NU Audio sound card released back in January 2019, the new EVGA NU Audio Pro 7.1 is also developed in partnership with Audio Note (UK). The EVGA NU Audio Pro cards feature the XMOS xCORE-200 high-end audio processor.

The EVGA NU Audio Pro 7.1 card comes with a new cover design with bolder RGB lighting on its three lighting zones. The EVGA NU Audio Pro 7.1 card also features the latest high-quality components to create superior audio quality compared to its predecessor. The EVGA NU Pro cards feature Nahimic 3D Audio for gaming, a ground-breaking virtual surround soundscape that enhances positioning so gamers can hear clearly in a game. EVGA NU Audio Pro Cards feature the NU AUDIO PRO software with tons of customisations available including RGB lighting control.

EVGA NU AUDIO PRO 7.1 Features

New Cover Design
The EVGA NU Audio Pro series features a bold new cover design for a more premium look and aesthetics.

Audio Note (UK) Seiryu (Azure Dragon) Capacitors
The EVGA NU Audio Pro uses the Seiryu capacitors which are the progeny of Audio Note's KAISEI Electrolytic Capacitor lineage. These capacitors are exclusive to the EVGA NU Audio Pro series cards which deliver enhanced audio at every frequency.

Tuning Audio Through Capacitors
The EVGA NU Audio Pro card also features AVX F95 audio tantalum capacitors to lower distortion, create a darker background, yet still give a dense lush feeling to the audio. The NP0 ceramic capacitors were replaced with Panasonic PPS types, to give a sweeter more natural treble. Combined, this gives an increased sense of air to wide-bandwidth recordings.

New Headphone Op-amp
The EVGA NU Audio Pro Card features an LT1469 op-amp for the headphone out, which provides a lusher and more high-quality sound to the audio, bringing out great dynamics and sound-staging without the edginess or rough sounding qualities of other op-amps.

RGB Lighting (EVGA NU Audio Pro only)
The NU Audio Pro features three different RGB lighting zones on the side of the card. Each zone can be linked to the other two, while the two bars can be configured for audio-reactive lighting to change dynamically with your audio playback.
