After releasing monoblocks for MSI and GIGABYTE along with an apology, EK Water Blocks continues and releases a new X399 motherboard monoblock for ASRock’s X399 offerings. The EK-FB ASRock X399 RGB Monoblock features the new redesigned cold plate and has an integrated 4-pin RGB LED strip that’s compatible with the ASRock RGB LED software for synchronized and personalized illumination.

EK-FB ASRock X399 RGB Monoblock

This monoblock is an all-in-one cooling solution that provides direct cooling to the AMD Socket TR4 Ryzen Threadripper processor and the power regulation module (VRM) located near the CPU socket. Liquid flows directly over these heat-producing critical areas delivering superior cooling performance to achieve higher and more stable overclocks. The monoblock comes with an additional passive heatsink to be used for the VRM and network chip components placed between the I/O shield and the memory DIMM slots.

Redesigned Cold Plate

The redesigned cold plate used in the new monoblocks has a fin area that covers most of the Ryzen Threadripper IHS surface. The new monoblock design will also cover the entire Ryzen Threadripper IHS for better thermal transfer. The base of the monoblock is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality acrylic glass material. The main nickel plated mounting screws and brass screw-in standoffs are pre-installed so that the installation process is quick and easy.
