The new Ryzen Threadripper AMD TR4 processors just came out today featuring a massive IHS with it a significantly larger processor compared to Intel’s HEDT processors. Previous coolers including EKWB water blocks wouldn’t give it a 100% IHS coverage so EKWB created a dedicated water block exclusively for the AMD TR4 processors – the EK-Supremacy EVO Threadripper Edition water block.

The EK-Supremacy EVO Threadripper Edition features a larger cold plate but the same award-winning cooling engine design of the Supremacy EVO. It comes with a dense micro-fin structure that counts 52 grooves with a spacing of 0.25mm apart offering the best possible cooling for the X399 chipset based Threadripper processors.

The EK-Supremacy EVO Threadripper Edition water block comes with a precisely machined copper base and treated with nickel electroplating producing an absolute mirror finish. The top is made from CNC machined POM Acetal, acrylic glass or nickel-plated brass depending on the variant. To ensure the optimal flow, the insert is pre-installed and made from injection molded ABS polymer.

There are three variants of the EK-Supremacy EVO Threadripper Edition water block and it comes with a pre-assembled error-preventing mounting mechanism that is installed directly onto the Socket TR4 mounting holes. It is also bundled with a tube of high-performance Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal grease.
