EK Water Blocks releases the new EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 full-cover graphics card water block. The water block is designed for the EVGA FTW2 series graphics cards. The EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 doesn’t only support some of the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 graphics cards, it is also compatible to some of the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW and FTW2 models. The full-cover graphics card water block offers a more efficient and effective cooling solution compared to the typical air-cooling solution offered by the brands themselves. Reach higher boost clocks and more stable overclocks to squeeze out more performance from your card for gaming and GPU-intensive applications.

The EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 Water Block
The water block provides direct cooling to the GPU, RAM and the VRM as the liquid coolant flows directly over these critical areas. With the full-cover design, the graphics card will be able to sustain higher overclocks while maintaining temperatures low. The water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine that offers the best possible cooling for all the critical areas that generate heat during operation. The flow can be reversed which will also provide the same cooling performance so no worries about which tubing needs to go first on installation. The water block also features great hydraulic performance allowing weaker pumps to cool the water block efficiently.

EK Water Blocks offer the EK-FC1080 GTX FTW2 in two variants – the Nickel and Acetal+Nickel models. The base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of a high-quality acrylic material or POM Acetal material (depending on the variant). Top material does not affect the block performance in any way. The acrylic (Plexi) top also features two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes. Note that there are no performance differences between the two variants.
