EK Water Blocks releases a new monoblock for ASUS ROG’s latest overclocking motherboard – the EK-FB ASUS M9A motherboard monoblock for the Maximus IX APEX. The motherboard features two EPS 12V 8PIN ATX power plugs that offer extra power to the VRMs and processor to reach higher overclocks. The Maximum IX Apex also feature 2 DIMM slots only that offers more efficient memory circuitry that minimizes interference with processor which in theory boosts CPU overclocks. The motherboard have been favoured in some of the most recent overclocking competitions and has truly proven itself to be the best Intel 200 series overclocking motherboard to date.

The monoblock is a complete liquid cooling solution for the ASUS ROG Maximum IX Apex motherboard wherein liquid flows directly over the processor and MOSFETs. The monoblock uses EKWB’s award-winning EK-Supremacy EVO cooling engine and features a high flow design that can easily manage weaker pumps. The monoblock has a nickel-plated electrolytic copper base with an acrylic glass top. Note that the monoblock doesn’t have mounts for LED modules nor support ASUS Aura Sync.
