ECS announces its latest mini PC offerings powered by the efficient Intel Gemini Lake processors – the LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V mini PCs. The ECS LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V mini PCs feature a compact form-factor with a fan-less design for a completely silent operation. Both LIVA mini PCs packs a 64GB onboard eMMC storage with a 2.5-inch drive bay to support an SSD or HDD. For connectivity, the ECS LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V sports three USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port and two additional USB 2.0 ports. Both LIVA mini PCs also pack two HDMI ports and the LIVA Z2 supports 4K and UHD resolutions and supports up to 8GB DDR4 memory.

The LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V mini PCs are smaller than a power supply with a volume of 0.8 litres only. It is perfect for an average PC user that desire a clean and clutter-free workspace.
Quiet and Efficient
The ECS LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V use a fan-less design relying on passive cooling only. Aside from its quiet operation, the fan-less design also naturally deter dust from penetrating inside the mini PC. The Intel Gemini Lake processors also feature great energy efficiency with an ultra-low power design that only consumes 6W at idle.
High-Speed Connectivity with Multi-Platform Support
The ECS LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V mini PCs are equipped with five easily accessible USB-A ports to support a wide selection of devices. It also comes with a high-speed USB-C port for the latest generation devices. The LIVA Z2 and Z2V mini PCs also pack the latest 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless connectivity along with the standard Ethernet port.
GPIO Control Interface
The ECS LIVA Z2 and LIVA Z2V pack a reserved GPIO control interface that can be used for external mainstream solutions.
