Crucial teases its newest addition to its DDR4 memory line up – the Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB Gaming Memory series. The most striking feature is the addition of the user-controllable RGB lighting, excellent for enthusiasts that like to customize and match colours in their gaming PC. Unlike most RGB illuminated memory kits, the Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB’s RGB lighting is fully customizable through the Crucial Ballistix M.O.D (Memory Overview Display) Utility software. Aside from RGB illumination control, the software also provides real-time temperature monitoring on the memory modules. The RGB lighting customization is compatible with third-party motherboard software such as ASUS Aura, MSI Mystic Light, and Gigabyte AORUS Graphics Engine.
The new Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB memory kits also offer faster speeds with kits starting at 2666 MT/s. The new Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB series also feature XMP profiles, a new custom heat spreader design along with a stealthy and stylish black PCB. The module’s top bar is removable and users can find available design files to customize and 3D print unique options. Crucial is giving the new Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB memory series a limited lifetime warranty.
“It’s all about customization and personalization for gamers and the Ballistix Tracer series continues to make that possible with new DDR4 RGB products. We’re committed to empowering gamers with affordable, customizable products that help them achieve the speed and performance they need, while also satisfying their aesthetic preferences. We’ll even supply design files for those who want to make some customizations to the top bar.” – Jeremy Mortenson, product marketing manager, Ballistix.
