CORSAIR Obsidian 1000D Super-Tower Houses Two Systems Simultaneously

CORSAIR introduces its largest and most feature-packed desktop chassis ever – the CORSAIR Obsidian 1000D Super-Tower chassis. It was created from the CORSAIR Concept Slate prototype that captured that attention of a lot PC enthusiasts and a result of over two years of design and development resulting to this unique and ultimate super-tower chassis. The Obsidian 1000D can house both an extended-ATX and a mini-ITX motherboard with two power supplies, a standard ATX and SFX PSU, to have two complete systems running simultaneously. The Obsidian 1000D has mounts for up to 18 cooling fans and up to 11 storage drives and a massive space for high-performance hardware to create an epic desktop build.



The CORSAIR Obsidian 1000D features a unique triple-chamber, dual-system layout with the primary system supporting up to an extended-ATX motherboard and the secondary system supporting a mini-ITX motherboard. The primary system is mounted on a raised motherboard island complete with convenient cable routing holes and a French-door-style compartment for storage drives, cabling and other accessories. The secondary SFX system sits rotated above the ATX power supply bay for the primary system. The secondary system is perfect as a streaming capture system, a file server or a secondary gaming system for two players.

Massive Cooling Options
Having two systems in one chassis, the Obsidian 1000D can mount up to 18 fans and up to four 480mm radiators.

Built-in Smart Lighting and Fan Control
The Obsidian 1000D is bundled with an integrated CORSAIR Commander PRO fan and lighting controller to control every RGB fan and RGB lighting through the CORSAIR iCUE software.

Futureproof High-Speed Connectivity
The CORSAIR Obsidian 1000D’s front panel includes two USB 3.1 Gen2 type-C ports along with four USB 3.0 Type-A ports to provide high-speed connectivity. The front panel also sports RGB lighting as well.

Ease of Build and Installation
Being a massive and heavy chassis, the CORSAIR Obsidian 1000D sports telescopic radiators trays that slides out to install radiators and all-in-one liquid coolers easily. The chassis also feature a plethora of pump and reservoir mounting points and a rotatable graphics card bracket for a horizontal or vertical mounting option.
