Cooler Master are introducing a trio of new products aimed at PC enthusiasts, gamers and professionals satisfying those who need new compact enclosures and low-noise power supply solutions for a home or office system. The new Cooler Master V Platinum V2 PSUs, Cooler Master X Silent Platinum PSUs and Ncore 100 Max chassis are launching at CES 2024 in time for a new year of pre-built and DIY innovation.

Cooler Master Ncore 100 Max

Given that small form factor (SFF) PC cases, particularly novel mini-ITX models, are generally niche propositions as they typically restrict parts selection and other options available to most systems, the new Ncore 100 Max is a risky proposition for Cooler Master's design team. It's noteworthy that Cooler Master have refined the design to widen compatibility as far as possible... literally.

This 15.7 litre enclosure integrates both thick 120mmx38mm AIO liquid cooling system and V SFX Gold 850W PSU into its design, and it can also extend its width to accommodate up-to 3.9-slot GPUs (up to 357mm x 79mm x 180mm). An anodised aluminium alloy construction and exterior give the Ncore 100 Max a unique futuristic appeal, one that sits within a very compact footprint. Taken as a whole, this means the case can handle even high-powered NVIDIA 40-series cards and performance CPUs, which is no small feat.

By offering two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A and a Gen2 x2 Type-C ports, as well as an audio combo port, the Ncore 100 Max certainly isn't skimping on I/O options. Each internal cable is pre-routed, which will also cut-down on the fuss of installation.

The Ncore 100 Max in silver and bronze is now available through Cooler Master’s network of retailers. See footnote for full case specifications.

Cooler Master V Platinum V2 PSU

Cooler Master's V Platinum V2 PSU is the foundation design of a new range of PSUs boasting high-end cooling with minimal noise. Launching with wattage ratings of 1100W, 1300W and 1600W, the range is intended to support high performance and data centre system which leverage powerful CPUs and GPUs in intensive workloads.

Each model incorporates CM's own Mobius fan which features an oil reflow system and ring blade design for low-noise and long-term durability. The PSU's anodic-coated heatsinks ensure great thermal performance compared to conventional designs, with a positive knock-on effect on both noise and reliability.

ATX 3.0 support and native 12VHPWR cabling, including a 90-degree 12+4-pin PCIe 5.0 cable, make the V Platinum V2 ready for NVIDIA's RTX 40-series and this generation's highest performance GPUs. A 12-year warranty underscores Cooler Master's confidence in the range.

Cooler Master X Silent Edge and X Silent MAX Platinum PSUs

In coming to the X Silent Edge and X Silent MAX PSUs we orient back towards the consumer end of the spectrum, satisfying system requirements from 850 to 1300W. These 80PLUS Platinum-rated power supplies are ATX 3.1 compliant and feature the new 12+4pin (12V-2x6) PCIe 5.1 cable ready for NVIDIA 40-series and future GPUs.

X Silent Edge 850W and 1100W Platinum PSUs have a fanless design that keeps them completely silent, while the 1300W MAX variant utilises the Cooler Master Mobius fan for low-noise fan-assisted cooling when necessary. Each also incorporates Digital Monitoring of temperature, load, and performance through the MasterCTRL utility.

Cooler Master X Silent Edge and X Silent MAX Platinum PSUs are covered by a long-term 15-year limited warranty. All the new PSU models are coming soon to retailers worldwide.
