COLORFUL introduces the SL500 Summer Edition LE Solid-State Drive in celebration of summer featuring a bright Glacier Blue colour. The limited edition COLORFUL SL500 Summer Edition SSD will only be available in a 640GB capacity which is now available in select Asian countries including Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries with an MSRP of $129 USD. It also comes bundled with a free Summer Edition 32GB flash drive.

COLORFUL SL500 Series

The COLORFUL SL500 solid-state drive series offers high-performance, high-capacity storage solutions for gamers and power-users with its speed and a wide selection of capacity from 120GB to 960GB. The SL500 SSDs uses Intel 32-layer 3D NAND TLC flash memory along with the Silicon Motion SMI 2258XT controller. The SSD delivers speeds of up to 500MB/s read and up to 450MB/s write, a fast storage solution for applications and games.

The COLORFUL SL500 Series uses the 2.5-inch drive form factor with a thickness of 7mm. It features a gold-plated PCB for improved stability and higher loading electrical performance. COLORFUL covers the SL500 Series solid-state drives with a limited 3-year warranty. COLOFUL plans to create an Autumn Edition of the SSD as well.
