CHIEFTEC, a PSU and case manufacturer based in Germany, expands its Power Smart Series of PSUs to include higher wattage and efficiency models up to 1450W. CHIEFTEC also introduces new Compact Series SFX PSU with 80PLUS Gold efficiency certification – the CSN-550C and CSN-650C small-form-factor power supplies.

Power Smart Series

The CHIEFTEC Power Smart Series sports 80PLUS Gold certification guaranteeing efficiency of not less than 90%. CHIEFTEC expanded the series to include higher wattage models to target high-performance PC builders and Cryptocurrency miners. New models include the GPS-1250C, GPS-1350C, and GPS-1450C making the series range from 450W up to 1450W. The Power Smart Series PSUs feature a semi-modular design with a 140mm silent fan.

Compact Series

CHIEFTEC also introduces the new Compact Series of small-form-factor power supplies ideal for mini-ITX cases and other SFF builds. The series feature two models in two wattages, the CSN-550C and CSN-650C, both of which are fully modular and gets 80PLUS Gold certification. The Compact Series has an 80mm cooling fan and has two 8-Pin (6+2) PCIe power connectors offering support for up to a GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.
