In an exclusive interview we spoke to Chris Lee about the new Intel Z77 motherboards and got a first look at the upcoming Extreme11 motherboard. ASRock's X79 Extreme11 boasts PCI-E 3.0 slots that each support x16 even with Quad-SLI. This is all thanks to the dual PLX chips (PEX8747). A whopping 7x PCI-E 3.0 lanes (x16) are available to give 4-way SLI and 4-way CrossfireX at the highest speeds possible. Below is the interview at CeBIT 2012:
